Things I've Learned #2: Less is More

Clutter free

Zero VOCs

True friends

Family time

A home cooked meal

A good book

A child's laugh

Fresh fruit and vegetables

Thrift/vintage stores

A sunny day

I apologize

I miss you

Thank you

I love you

Yes, less is more.  Give me less and less of more and more.

What do you want less of more?

Have a great weekend!

  1. I love the less is more approach. It was forced upon me when I moved from a big old farmhouse with 5 bedrooms to a tiny bungalow with 5 total rooms (including one 4'x6' bathroom). I love getting rid of, and not collecting in the first place, crap I don't need. And I have always felt very lucky to get pleasure from simple things like flowers and fruit and vegetables. And sushi and injera and chocolate food. And food and food. I love food. Want more food. Wait, what was the question?

  2. You know Tami, simplifying life makes it so much easier to enjoy!!!! I am going to the outdoor farmer's market in town today to pick up fresh veggies for the week. I always enjoy seeing the people, the beautiful flowers, sampling the cheeses and sitting down with a Salvadoran pupusa for breakfast!'

    Thanks for your encouragement.

  3. Good post, Tami.

I'm into simplifying things these days and going back to basics with less of the polished 'stuff.'

One thing I want less of is WAITING, LOL!!
